Made Close to Home

Every story begins somewhere. Ours began at home—and, in many ways, it still does. What started as two children’s names gradually became something much bigger than we could have imagined.

Over the years, Gav & Sav has quietly grown, but its beginnings continue to shape the way we work today.

From a small space at home, we’ve always believed that thoughtful work doesn’t need a large space to make a meaningful journey.

A Homegrown Studio

Our work has always been created close to home.

Not because we set out to stay small, but because that’s where our ideas have always taken shape—around the worktable, between everyday routines, and alongside family life.

As Gav & Sav grew, so did the pair of hands that became part of its story.

More Than One Pair of Hand

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside talented homemakers, each joining us during different chapters of our journey. One stayed for years, while others crossed paths with us for a shorter season, quietly helping bring our pen wraps and notebook covers to life in their own homes.

Each stitch carries not only our design, but also the care, craftsmanship, and time shared by the hands that help create them.

Even during the uncertainty of the pandemic, we continued making wraps whenever we could. Rather than slowing down completely, we used that quieter season to build our inventory while helping provide steady work for the people sewing alongside us.

Made Here, Shared Everywhere

One of our proudest milestones came when a special wrap was created exclusively for the Manila Pen Show in their second year.

Since then, our work has travelled far beyond the little room where it began—finding homes with fountain pen enthusiasts both here in the Philippines and around the world.

No matter where each piece eventually goes, every one still begins the same way: close to home.

Remarkably Distinct

Because every fabric is cut individually and every print falls differently, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Even when two notebook covers begin with the same fabric, their print placement, appliqué details, stitching, and finishing touches quietly make each one its own.

We don’t try to make identical pieces.

We enjoy watching each one become its own version of the same idea.
