At Gav & Sav, making has never been only about sewing. It’s also about paying attention—how a notebook opens, how a wrap folds after repeated use, and how the smallest adjustments can quietly improve the experience of using something every day.
Over time, we’ve found that many of our best ideas don’t arrive all at once. They emerge gradually, shaped by use. reflection, and the quiet lessons each finished piece leaves behind.
What the Work Taught Us
Every finished piece continues the conversation.
Living with our own notebook covers and pen wraps allows us to notice things that aren’t always visible at the worktable. Sometimes an idea reveals itself only after weeks—or even months—of everyday use.
The work doesn’t simply leave the table.
