Pen Kimono in Red Colored Fabric

Red, a pretty color stands for many things. Most of them extremes, red is associated with danger, passionate love and anger. Red also means love and good luck. Red is an auspicious color.

For this pen kimono, we used a distressed red fabric for its outer cover and a darker red fabric for its lining and tie. Distressed fabrics are lovely to make into pen wraps. With its imperfect appearance and speckled look, the fabric is designed to mimic having ink stains. With usage, this kind of wrap will look prettier over time. Accidental ink spills will blend naturally as if part of the original design, or it can be washed off.
